4. Convey your messages via email
A curt email or a text is a great way to communicate as you won’t have to interact one-on-one. Constant email conversations will establish a code between you two and with time you will be comfortable with this form of conversation.
5. Give them a false time constraint
Look busy. Always. Tell them you don’t have time for small talk. They will then talk within the given time frame. The ideal time frame being two minutes.
6. Talk through them indirectly
If there is someone to mediate between you and them, you can always give your message via them. However, the chances of misunderstanding and miscommunication are higher as the message can be interrupted by the third party.
